In 2012 London hosts the Olympic Games.
At our meeting in May, it is our intention to hold a symposium on sports injuries in the hand. The faculty will include a number of national and international experts in this area, all of whom will give a short presentation with time for discussion.
Added to that, the following day it is our intention to link with the Skills Workshop at the Royal College of Surgeons, to present operative techniques demonstrated on cadavers. This will obviously include many procedures that are relevant to the general hand practice.
Added to that, there will also be an update on the effect of the latest government review on healthcare on hand surgery and also hot topics like cholinesterase.
As usual there will also be plenty of opportunities for people to present their own work.
As such, I do hope that you will find the time to attend what should be a very exciting meeting.
